UNIVERSITY & COMMUNITY HOUSING SERVICES is a one-stop housing shop that handles all housing processes including applications, contracts, waiting lists, room assignments, roommate matching, and billing for UC Santa Barbara residence halls and apartments. Additionally, Community Housing Services offers resources for community housing issues such as rental listings, conflict resolution, and rental advice. We are located on the 3rd floor of the University Center, above the Campus Store. We welcome you to stop by our office or contact us regarding any housing questions you may have.
January 19, 2022 Update: Students living in the residence halls that delayed their return to campus due to remote instruction are eligible to receive a $24/day residence hall credit (not to exceed $650) if they submit a request between January 31 and February 4, 2022, pending verification of their delayed return. Credits will be submitted to BARC by March 18, 2022. The link to the request form will be posted on this web page on January 31, 2022.
