Santa Cruz is located on the Main Campus near Anacapa Residence Hall and De La Guerra Dining Commons, and is home to undergraduate students. It is a short walk to Campus Point beach and the Marine Biotechnology Lab. Various rooms have beautiful views of the ocean, campus, mountains, and spacious lawns. Santa Cruz was remodeled in 2014 and received a LEED Gold certification.

  • Located at Main Campus East
  • Similar to Anacapa and Santa Rosa in construction and location
  • Two-story building connected by stairs (there is no elevator access to the second floor) 
  • Men and women reside in adjacent wings on each floor
  • Large, single-gender bathroom on each wing with multiple sinks, toilet stalls, and private showers
  • Limited number of rooms adapted to needs of physically disabled students and wheelchair accessible
  • Each floor offers a study lounge and kitchenette
  • Recreational room with a pool table, a ping pong table, a foosball table, an air hockey table, television, and vending machines
  • All inclusive 9-month contract includes a meal plan, high-speed wireless internet access, regular housekeeping, laundry rooms, and 24-hour on-call maintenance and emergency staff.
  • Other amenities include a TV lounge, an upright piano, a large community lounge for events and studying, outdoor patio furniture, a classroom, access to the Carrillo swimming pool, a surf shower, and a sand volleyball court
