Denisse Santana, Business Systems Analyst in Residential Operations, was recognized with the “Photo of the Day” from Noozhawk. This beautiful image of one of our tinier residents was snapped outside of Santa Rosa Residence Hall. Nice job Denisse!

Food Service Equipment Reports recently recognized Campus Dining with a Management Excellence Award, which recognizes excellence in the management of unit and facilities development, design, equipment and supplies purchasing and maintenance functions in commercial and noncommercial foodservice operations. UCSB Conference & Hospitality Services is excited to offer a new program this summer! Intern Housing will offer convenient and affordable housing in San Joaquin Villages to students participating in a summer internship or job in the Santa Barbara area. It's also available to UC Santa Barbara students working on campus in the summer.

UCSB is a fun and beautiful place to work. It’s also an elite research university that offers public lectures. Take a look and see if there’s anything you’re interested in knowing more about to satisfy those lifelong learning goals!

In the continuing effort to rebrand the Campus Store, formerly the Bookstore, a new sign was installed at the entrance. This was one of the last important updates, as all marketing materials, the website URL, and interior signage reflects this change. All of this was done to remind our community that we offer a wide assortment of merchandise and provide many services in addition to textbooks.

For staff and faculty that live within 12-miles of campus and typically commute by car, this is a great opportunity to try a more sustainable alternative. Interested staff and faculty can email TAP@tps.ucsb.edu. Once approved for the program, the individual can coordinate directly with our vendor, e-bikery, to complete the rental process. TPS will cover the cost of the rentals for this program.
