Spring Quarter’s Food Truck Fair Kicked Off Staff Appreciation Week
The 2017 Food Truck Fair this past Spring Quarter was hosted by Concessions of Residential Dining Services. With six of the most sought after food trucks in Los Angeles, the Fair was a great success with fantastic food! The colorful food trucks pulled into the Campbell Hall courtyard on the morning of April 27 ready to serve the UCSB community. The famous Grilled Cheese Truck, Cousins Maine Lobster Truck, Middle Feast Truck, Rice Balls of Fire Truck, Belly Bombz Truck, and The Deli Doctor Truck were there for the day, and excited to feed hungry Gauchos!
Long lines of UCSB students and staff quickly formed to taste the vast variety of treats. Among the options available for purchase were an assortment of grilled-cheese sandwiches, poke bowls, a wide selection of kabobs, lobster sandwiches, Boba, and much, much more! Cocktail tables were provided at the foodie friendly environment, enabling customers to enjoy their meal in comfort. Concessions is working on hosting this event once a quarter to make it a staple that students and staff can both look forward to and enjoy on a more frequent basis. Couldn’t make it?
