Three of the five residential buildings on the main site are fully framed out, with the pre-fabricated walls and roof trusses completed and two of the buildings starting to have roofing and windows installed. A model unit is scheduled to be completed by the end of December. We are looking forward to installing all the appliances and furniture to finish the units and be ready for move-in Fall of 2015! The reconstruction of Building 7 on the north side of the site is quickly progressing, with underground plumbing and electrical almost complete and the forming and tensioning of the new prestressed concrete slab starting. The curb, gutter, asphalt, and concrete sidewalk work around Building 7 at the intersection of Whittier and Storke Road is ongoing. We are excited that the new crosswalk and pedestrian crossing has been completed to provide safe passage to the east side of Storke Road away from the overall Storke Road Improvements work. The Storke Road Improvements project continues to coordinate with Edison to ensure all new conduits properly tie into the underground utility vaults. Once all the underground work has been completed, the contractor can continue the hardscape improvements including the completion of the sidewalk and new bus turnout.
