Construction update for the week of March 3, 2014

March 3, 2014

What’s happening at the Sierra Madre Villages construction site this week:

The slab pours initially scheduled for this week have been postponed due to the recent storm.  These will resume once the area dries, and the forms can be checked/reset as necessary.  Pumps are onsite to assist, however it may be pushed back by a week.

The West Campus entrance relocation and storm water lines beneath it to address historical flooding concerns are the current priority for the project.  Once the new drain is complete the entrance flooding problem should be eliminated.

Anticipated West Campus impacts for this week:

Work will continue on the West Campus lawn next to the front entrance.   There are no traffic detours expected, however residents can expect noise as tractors resume their work once the area dries.

Storm drain work will continue along Sierra Madre Court (the perimeter road at the north of the complex) behind the fence line.  Again, no traffic detours expected, however residents can expect tractor noise once the area dries.
