Construction Update for the Week of January 27, 2014

January 27, 2014

What’s happening at the Sierra Madre Villages construction site this week:

Work continues similarly to last week.  The contractor will be pouring concrete slabs, so cement vehicles will be entering and exiting the construction site.   All work will occur within the site boundaries.

Planned disturbances for this week:

On Tuesday, January 28, Goleta Valley Water District will be replacing a valve on the north end of West Campus which will require water to be shut off throughout the complex for most of the day. Residents can expect hot and cold water to be off from 8am to 5pm.  Notifications have been posted on doors and sent via email.

Fencing at the south-east corner of the construction site continues to border the West Campus Apartments entrance as the work there is being finished up. Please exercise caution when entering/exiting the complex as visibility of pedestrians and vehicles is impaired.
