| “Self Operated” |
- University employees provide the services (Chefs, Dietitians, Service Staff, Custodians and Management Personnel)
- Residential Dining is an integral part of the Housing & Residential Services Department
- Financial goal = use Residents’ “Board dollars” to offer the best meals possible and balance the budget (a break even, non-profit operation)
- No tax dollars or contract companies (i.e. Sodexo) are used to provide meal services.
|
| |
| Meal Plans |
- 19 meals = A “Premiere” meal plan for maximum flexibility; recommended for incoming students
- 14 meals = A “Sustenance” meal plan that meets most residents' needs
- 10 Meals = An “Alternative” meal plan that allows residents to purchase meals elsewhere on and off campus
