Meal plans entitle you to eat one time per meal period. If more than one meal is consumed in a meal period, your BA/RC account will be charged for an additional meal at the guest meal rate (see below). Please note posted meal hours to ensure that you do not eat more than once during breakfast, lunch or dinner period.

Guests in the Dining Commons

The UCSB dining commons can only accept guests accompanied by a student living in the residence halls OR a UCSB staff member.

Pre-purchased (via BA/RC) guest passes—on sale at the Housing and Residential Services Office, 8-noon and 1-4:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Payment by debiting Resident’s ACCESS account with the dining commons lobby checker.
Payment by Charging to Resident’s BA/RC with the dining commons lobby checker.
