Lights, camera and action! With over 32 chefs coming together from the pacific region for a 3 day conference, the excitement peaked with a catered culinary challenge, in which participants had 90 minutes to create a four-course menu using outdoor cooking stations.
The heat was definitely in the kitchen, as the chefs worked in 4 teams to prepare good eats for a crowd of hungry VIP guests, including 14 Gaucho residents. Student foodies participated in a dining sponsored Instagram contest and the winners earned VIP passes to the catered lunch. With Harder Stadium as the backdrop for the lunch, it was the perfect setting for the event. The Gaucho spirit was in the air with the crowd savoring and raving about the delicious creations of these talented chef.
