PAYMENT METHODS FOR CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS

 

There are various methods for paying the fees for a conference for which you have registered:

 

CREDIT CARDS

The preferred method is paying with a credit card online via our internet registration system.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners’ Club.

You may also mail credit card information for us to process; see address below under “Checks & Money Orders.” Be sure to include the following information:

-          Conference Name

-          Attendee’s Full Name

-          Amount to Charge (US Dollars)

-          Card Number + Expiration date (Month/Year)

-          Cardholder Name & Signature

** Please note that due to University financial regulations, we cannot accept faxed credit card numbers.

 

 

CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS

If you pay by check or money order, we prefer that you still register via our internet registration form (you do not need to pay with a credit card to use this form).

All check/money order payments must be in U.S. Dollars (USD) only, and checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank.

INTERCAMPUS / INTERDEPARTMENTAL RECHARGE (UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA Only)

Attendees from University of California campuses may provide a UC budget/account number with campus & department name in the “Additional Comments” area of the registration form, or email the information to conferences(at)housing.ucsb.edu (include attendee’s name and conference name if sending information by email).

 

 

CASH PAYMENTS (ON-SITE)

It is sometimes possible to pay in cash (U.S. currency only) when you arrive at the conference.

Please note the following special circumstances that may apply:

-          For some conferences, you may have to pay a higher registration fee if you pay after you arrive; please check the conference website.

-          For conferences for which our department is collecting accommodation fees only (but not registration fees), we cannot guarantee accommodation availability unless all accommodation fees are paid in advance.
