Update, August 4: In response to requests from authors, the Committee has extended the early bird deadline to Friday, 8/7. Registrants that have not paid by Friday, 8/7, will be charged an additional $50 fee. If there is a payment issue, please contact us to make alternate arrangements.

2.       To register for on-campus accommodations: You must register separately if you would like to reserve lodging/meals on the UCSB campus during the conference. Click button below for campus housing information.

3.      If you need to make changes or additions to a previously submitted online reservation, please contact us by email or fax (contact information below) with your changes/additions. Make sure to indicate that you are making changes to a previous registration.

4.      Registrants will receive a detailed confirmation email with travel information, driving directions, and other important information approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the conference.

Parking Information

·          Participants staying off-campus can pay for their parking at the machines in campus lots (more information will be provided with your confirmation that will be e-mailed to you before the conference).

·          Participants staying in on-campus accommodation will receive at time of check-in a complimentary permit for the duration of their stay. We will email a confirmation 2-3 weeks prior to the conference with a web-link to a temporary 60-minute parking permit which you can use to check-in and unload upon arrival.

·          Attendees from other UC campuses: Click for full information on UC Reciprocity visitor parking.

·          To park on campus, you must have a permit 7 days per week (public prices $8 per weekday, $3 per weekend day). Be very cautious of where you park. Guests are responsible for following parking rules and for any penalties.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made IN WRITING (email conferences(at)ucsb.housing.ucsb or fax 805-893-6018). A $50-per-registrant cancellation fee will be retained for all cancelled registrations. Cancellations after conference start date or “no show” will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. (NOTE that conference registration and housing registration are separate processes, and separate cancellation fees may apply for each.)
