Apartments

The Santa Ynez apartment complex is the perfect location for visiting professors, graduate researchers, or long-term academic programs. Conveniently located between the main campus, Isla Vista, and the Camino Real shopping center, the Santa Ynez apartments are accessible by bus, bike, or on foot.

Guest Services

Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. Here are just a few of the ways our Conference Services team works to serve you:

 

Front Desk Service

Located in the main lobby of each residence hall, our Guest Services Desks are staffed by current UCSB students who can advise you on everything from local attractions to navigating the campus. The front desks also serve as the hub for check-in and checkout services, extra linen supplies, recreation equipment checkout, airport shuttle service, and lost key replacement.

 

Housekeeping

Our friendly housekeeping staff will make you feel at home during your stay. Housing facilities are dutifully maintained and cleaned using environmentally safe products, and staff work closely with the front desks to respond quickly as needs arise. Linen service is also available.

 

Parking

Parking is absolutely FREE for those staying on campus! Permits are provided upon request at our front desks, along with directions to assigned parking lots.

 

Safety & Security

After-hours entry to residence halls is controlled by restricted access electronic keys. In addition, all residence halls and apartments are patrolled by the Community Service Organization (CSO) in cooperation with the UCSB Police Department.

 

Arrival/Departure Shuttle Service

Complimentary shuttle service to and from the Santa Barbara Airport and the Goleta station of the Santa Barbara Airbus is available through the residence hall front desks.

 

Wireless Internet Access

All residence halls and apartments have complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access for guests staying in UCSB accommodations.
