Complex Coordinator Position

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director for Apartment Student Life, the Complex Coordinator (CC) is responsible for the community development, safety, supervision and administration of 4,500 persons residing in university apartments complexes. The CC provides leadership and support for the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Family Student Housing Apartment programs through shared duty and administrative processes. Responds to all resident issues, co-creates neighborhood programs, trains and supervises a staff of Resident Assistants, Assistant CC, and various student positions, provides on-call assistance and responds to emergencies as needed. Liaisons with various campus and departmental offices to provide outstanding service to residents.

  • Requirements:
    • Candidates should have demonstrated effective administrative and managerial experience in residence halls, including staff supervision and training, counseling, advising and programming of diverse college students.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft software on PC.
    • Bachelors degree required. Master's degree or equivalent working experience.
    • Desirable: 2-3 years post degree experience and previous housing management experience in university apartments.
