Are you looking for ways to get involved? Are you interested in learning more about Judicial Affairs, Mediation and Restorative Justice? Apply TODAY for the paid Amy Van Meter Internship! http://info.housing.ucsb.edu/avminternship2013.aspx Application Due: MON, APRIL 15 by 5PM.
This internship was designed to memorialize the work of Amy Van Meter, a 14-year employee of Housing & Residential Services, who knew that there are better ways for people to effectively move through their conflicts with one another without losing their dignity. Amy had a profound impact on the many students, staff and faculty who met with her to discuss their housing issues and concerns. Honoring each person’s process, time and time again, Amy created space for each person to be their best and find their best answer. Housing & Residential Services, together with Amy’s family, established this internship to continue Amy’s work and further mediation and restorative justice processes within the housing communities.
