Q. I submitted my Transfer Student Housing Application, but the housing step is not marked as complete on the Steps to Enrollment. Why?
A. If you submitted a Transfer Student Housing Application by the June 1 deadline, you will be offered a contract around June 19. After that, once you’ve submitted all necessary contract documents, the housing step will be marked as complete on the Steps to Enrollment website.

Q. On the Transfer Student Housing Application, the only option for the Residence Halls is “Any Res Hall.” Can I specify my preference for a specific hall?
A. If you apply for a residence hall, you will not be able to select a building preference during the application process, but may specify if you are awarded a Residence Hall contract.

• Applications are only valid if you:
  • Submit your intent to enroll by June 1, 2009
  • Complete an online housing application by June 1, 2009
• New transfer students are guaranteed a contract for University housing as long as they adhere to all procedures and deadlines.
• All EAP students and re-admitted students who complete the application requirements will be included in a housing lottery, which is used to allocate a limited number of spaces in the following units.
